The sound vibrations of Gongs, & Singing Bowls help provide a channel for release, opening & transformation, while tuning our vibrational frequency. Danny shares these sounds in collaboration with Yoga, Meditation, Qigong, Bodywork, Acupuncture & breathing techniques. The Sound Immersion Experience presents for the Stanford University Be Well Program as well as at yoga studios & healing centers throughout the Bay Area & Santa Cruz including: Breathe Together, Pacific Cultural Center, San Francisco Buddhist Center, 1440 Multiversity, Peacebank Yoga, Yoga Tree & several other locations. The Sound Immersion Experience has been featured at many events including: Science & Nonduality Conference, Globe Sound Healing Conference, New Living Expo, Wanderlust Festival, Symbiosis Gathering, Lightning in a Bottle, Lucidity, Beloved Festival, Sunset Campout, Phases of the Moon Festival & many other events. Danny has also presented the Sound Immersion for classes at Stanford University, UC Santa Cruz & Foothill College as well as sessions with The Veteran’s Center in San Francisco, The Wellness Recovery Center in San Jose, The Center for the Blind in Palo Alto & with members of the 49er’s & The Raiders & Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Danny is the Hike Program Coordinator for the Djerassi Resident Artists Program in Woodside and offers Walking Meditation Programs for Stanford University’s Be Well Program & guides hikes for many schools, retreats, hotels, event planners and private groups throughout the Bay Area including hiking tours at Costanoa in Pescadero & The Ritz Carlton- Half Moon Bay. He has been guiding hiking tours and teaching environmental education in northern California since 1999 & has grown a close relationship with the landscape and its history. Danny facilitates creative group activities in nature integrating knowledge of flora, fauna, geology and native people. Tours can include a lesson in botanical illustration, landscape painting or art in nature with found objects. He combines his passions for nature, health and the arts to offer inspiring hiking experiences and new insight into the world around you. The land, the ocean and the sky has been a continuous inspiration for Danny’s paintings & other creative endeavors. Danny received a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. and studied printmaking and textile design at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. He lives in the mountains of Woodside, CA since 1995. A fine artist, painter, photographer, graphic designer, set designer, art teacher and event producer; Danny has worked on documentary films and productions in various capacities & has taught art classes at many levels from elementary to college in both public & private settings since 1989, offering classes in a wide array of media and styles.
